usagi

usagi is a macOS taskbar application that shows your Claude usage 🐇

Claude usage trackers are, famously, considered the hello, world of vibe coded applications, yet somehow I didn't find one I liked. I wanted something minimal, fast, easy to use, and importantly, complete.

I'll update it if something breaks, there is a security issue, a new version of macOS is released, or Claude's usage primitives change (or I missed one) – other than that this app is done.

In the taskbar you get a session reset countdown timer, and a usage bar:

When you click the icons, you get a details dropdown:

And the settings screen has a couple of options to tweak:

You sign in via a little browser window that will prompt you for a verification code (you can get this by signing in with Claude). That's it.
